A previous owner’s expansion and remodel of this kitchen fell far short on quality design and detail.
Buck Brothers unified the segmented space to create a well-balanced working kitchen, without relocating any walls or windows. The long center island combines space for kids to have a quick meal with countertop prep area adjacent to the sink and range. Widening the doorway to the dining room spills sunlight through both rooms and makes laying out supper for a family of four a breeze.
The dark fruitwood stain on the island cabinetry acts as a great counterpoint to the light colors of the surrounding cabinets, countertop and flooring.
